Who I Am
Hi, I’m Lucas Xie.
My background is in software development. Over the past 14 years, I have worked on backend systems, enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, fintech systems, insurance systems, and mobile app products.
In recent years, I have been building my own products, including language-learning apps, AI-assisted tools, writing utilities, and small web products. I care about turning complex ideas into simple, usable products that solve real problems.
I’m especially interested in the intersection of language learning, personal knowledge systems, AI-assisted creation, and practical software products.
Why I Build
As both a software developer and a language learner, I care about how people understand, practice, and internalize new knowledge.
This interest led me to build Vocheo, an English speaking practice app, and to publish a book about English sentence structure from a more systematic and intuitive perspective.
I also build tools for creators and independent workers, such as MinReply, WeFmt, and LaunchCheck — small, focused products that help people save useful AI replies, format writing, prepare launches, and organize their work more clearly.
